Most e-commerce chatbots are glorified FAQ pages. They understand your question, find the closest help article, and paste it into a chat bubble. When the customer says “I want to return my order,” the bot says “Here’s our return policy!” and drops a link.

That’s not resolution. That’s deflection.

What agent-native means

We built EvoAI around a different idea: AI agents should do things, not just say things.

When a customer says “I want to return my order,” our support agent:

  1. Identifies the order from context (no order number needed)
  2. Checks return eligibility against your policies
  3. Prepares a recommendation for your team
  4. Gets a single approval click from a manager
  5. Generates the return label
  6. Emails the customer with instructions
  7. Notifies your warehouse
  8. Issues the refund
  9. Sends a CSAT survey

One human decision. Eight automated actions. Average resolution: 47 seconds.

Why now?

Three things changed that made this possible:

LLMs got good enough. Not just at understanding language, but at reasoning about policies, maintaining context across long conversations, and knowing when they’re uncertain.

Tool use became reliable. Modern LLMs can call APIs, execute multi-step workflows, and chain actions together without breaking. This is the unlock — the agent doesn’t just think, it acts.

E-commerce is ready. The industry has spent a decade digitizing operations. Shopify APIs, Stripe webhooks, shipping integrations — the plumbing exists. What was missing was the intelligence layer that connects it all.

Two agents, one platform

EvoAI ships with two specialized agents:

Sales Agent — Handles product discovery, personalized recommendations, upsells, cross-sells, and cart recovery. It’s like having your best sales associate on every channel, in every language, 24/7.

Support Agent — Processes returns, tracks orders, issues refunds, handles exchanges, and escalates intelligently. It resolves tickets end-to-end, not just responds to them.

Both agents share the same architecture: they understand your products, follow your policies, and execute actions through your existing tools.

What’s next

We’re opening up early access this month. If you’re running a Shopify store and spending more than $5K/month on support or leaving revenue on the table with a basic chatbot, we’d love to show you what’s possible.
